The female is 36 year old and menses start at the age of 12 ,that is menses occurred for 36–12=24 years or 24×12=288 months , 288 secondary oocytes should have formed but she got pregnant twice so no secondary oocyte formed for 9(gestation period)×2 = 18 months and 6 months following parturition that is lactational period in each pregnancy.(6×2=12)

So, no secondary oocytes formed for 18+12=30months. Hence , 288–30=258.

And 2 secondary oocytes developed into ova which fertilised to give the 2 zygotes.

\sf{\underline{Answer:}}

258 secondary oocyte and 2 ova.

\sf{\underline{Because:}}

Ova is released only at the time of fertilisation.

2 babies means two ova.

\implies \sf{(36 - 12) \times 12 = x}

\implies \sf{24 \times 12 = x}

\implies \sf{288 = x}

Therefore: \boxed{\sf{288}}

\sf{\underline{But:}}

2 babies means no secondary oocytes were produced for 9 months (at the time of pregnancy).

\sf{\underline{Note:}} And moreover, 6 months till breast feeding.

\sf{\underline{So:}}

\implies \sf{2(9 + 6) = x}

\implies \sf{2(15) = x}

\implies \sf{30 = x}

Therefore: \boxed{\sf{30}}

\sf{\underline{Hence:}}

\boxed{\sf{288 - 30 = 258}} secondary oocyte.
