frequency = 50 Hz
Ns - Synchronous Speed = 120 * frequency / Number of poles
= 120 * 50 / 4
= 1500 rpm
the speed at which magnetic field of the stator is rotating. = 1500 rpm
Slip % = 100 * (Ns - rotor Speed)/Ns
= 100 ( 1500 - 1440)/1500
= 60/15
=4
Slip % = 4
