A 4 pole dc series generator is driven at 1600 rpm and driving a load of 60A with terminal
Voltage of 300V. It has a total of 500 coils. A group of 400 active coils has 8 turns per coil.
Poles winding are producing a total flux of 8mWb. Assume armature resistance to be 0.3ohm.
Calculate the resistance of fielding. If other remaining coils are to be made active and giving
a load of 65A , what would be the new terminal voltage ?
