$= 6 \times {1}^{2} \: cm ^{2} = 6 {cm}^{2}$

$= \frac{ \: Volume \: of \: the \: bigger \: cube }{ \:Volume \: of \: the \: smaller \: cube }$

$= \frac{4 \times 4 \times 4}{1 \times 1 \times 1} = \frac{64}{1} = 64$
