The radial segment of this circle is 0.25 cm²

Given,

The length of the long Chord is 4cm

Angle of the radial segment is 60°

To Find,

We have to find the the radial segment of this circle

Solution,

For finding the radial segment of this circle we have just find the radius of the circle.

let assume that radius of the circle is r .

Then, r sin(60/2) = (4/2)

or, r sin 30° = ½

or, r*½= ½

or, r= ½* ½ = 0.25

Hence, the radial segment of this circle is 0.25 cm²
