using pythagoras theorem,
h²=p²+b²
(5.5)²=p²+(4.4)²
p²=30.25-19.36
p²=10.89
p=3.3m

Using Pythagoras Theorem
(hypotenuse)^2=(side one)^2+(side two)^2
5.5^2=4.4^2+(side two)^2
(side two)^2=5.5^2--4.4^2
(side two)=√10.89
=3.3
