x/y = constant

i)5.6/3.2 = 10.5/x

2.1/1.6 = 10.5/x

x = 10.5 x 1.6

           2.1

= 5 x 1.6 = 8

8 metres long shadow would be casted

ii) 2.1/1.6 = x/5

x = 2.1 x 5

         1.6

x = 6.56

6.56 metres long pole casts a shadow 5 metres long
