Actually welcome to the Concept of the Capacitors and it's Energy
The Energy stored in Capacitors is given as,
E = 1/2 CV^2
Now here, we are given with
C = 5 × 10^-6 F
V = 100 V
so we get energy as
E = 1/2 ×5 × (100)^2 × 10^-6
E = 1/2 × 5 × 10^-2
E = 2.5 × 10^-2
E = 0.025 J
