Known:

M₁=5M

a₁=H₂SO₄⇒H₂ =2

V₁=1 L

V₂=1000 L

Asked: N₂?

Answer:

Use dilution formula:

M₁.a₁.V₁=M₂.a₂.V₂

and

Remember that the normality of formula: N=M.a

So ,

5.2.1=100.N

10   =100N

10/100   = N

 0,1  =N

So, the normality is 0,1 N.
