Answer:

Time taken to travel the 50 m distance.

90 kmph into m/s = 25 m/s.

Time taken to travel 50 m = 50/25 = 2 seconds.

Use cross multiplication method

50 m 2 seconds

200 m. ? seconds

Time taken for 200 m = 200 x 2/50 = 4 seconds.

Length of train = 50 m

Length of platform = 200 m

Speed of train = 90 km/h

⇒ S = 90 × ⁵/₁₈

⇒ S = 5 × 5 \\ </p><p></p><p>⇒ S = 25 m/s

→ Total distance = Length of train + Length of platform

⇒ D = 50 + 200 m \\ </p><p></p><p>⇒ D = 250 m

We have speed and distance ,

we need to find time ,

\bigstar\ \; \sf Speed=\dfrac{Distance}{Time}★

:\implies \sf S=\dfrac{D}{t} \\ :⟹S= </p><p>t</p><p>D

:\implies \sf 25=\dfrac{250}{t} \\

:

\implies \sf t=\dfrac{250}{25}

:\implies \sf \pink{t=10\ s}\ \; \bigstar

So , Time taken to cross a platform of 200 m is 10 s
