Answer:

1300m^2

Step-by-step explanation:

total area- area of plot = area of lawn

total area= l*b

l=80+5+5=90

b=40+5+5=50

total area=90*50=4500m^2

area of plot=80*40=3200m^2

area of lawn=4500-3200=1300m^2

Answer:1300m²

Step-by-step explanation:The measurements of the rectangular plot is given as 80×40 m.Area of rectangle = l×b. So area of rectangular plot is 80×40m=3200m². Now the width of lawn is 5 m. SO length of lawn will be (80m+5m+5m) and breadth will be (40m+5m+5m) so area of this will be 90×50m=4500m².But lawn is in between both of this.

So area = 4500m²-3200m²

=1300m²
