Answer:

1 . 5x + 8 - 2x =14

5x + 8 - 14 - 2x = 0

5x - 4 - 2x = 0

3x - 4 = 0

3x = 4

x = 4/3

10. 3(2y - 4 ) + 3y = 5 ( y - 4)

6y - 12 + 3y = 5y - 20

6y - 5y - 12 + 20 = 3y

y + 8 = 3y

8 = 3y - y

8 = 2y

i. e 2y = 8

y = 8 / 2

y = 4

Sorry but I was knowing only first and the last one
