P=v²/R

125 × 6 = v²

v= 5√30

Hope it helps

Answer:

Potential difference, V = 27.38 volts

Explanation:

Given that,

Resistance, R = 6 ohm

Power, P = 125 J/s = 125 watts

The relationship between the power, resistance and the voltage is given by :

P=\dfrac{V^2}{R}

V=\sqrt{PR}

V=\sqrt{125\ W\times 6\ \Omega}

V = 27.38 V

So, the potential difference across the resistor is 27.38 volts.
