Resistance = 6 ohm.
When it is folded its length becomes halved
and its area gets doubled.
We know,
R = rho × L / A......(1)
Now,
New R = rho × L/2 / 2A
Therefore R = 1/4 rho × L / A
Comparing this with one ..we get..
R = 1/4 × 6
Thus, New resistance is 1.5 ohm..
