A 60 kg man stand on a lift find out his apparent weight when the lift accelaeates down words at 2m/sec

: 9.8 m/sec sq - 2 m/sec sq = 7.8m/sec sq.
Apparent weight = 60 x 7.8 / 9.8 = 47.75 kg.
