A 60 litre giant density bottle weighs 100N when empty. What will be its mass when filled with liquid W whose density is 0.72g/cm3? (g=10N/kg)

Answer:

.72 g/cm^3 = (.72  g* 10E-3 kg/g( / (1 * 10E-6 m^3 /cm^3) = 720 kg / m^3

1 L = 1 * 10E-3 m^3          60 L = .06 m^3

mass = density * volume = 720 kg / m^3 * .06 m^3 = 43.2 kg  (liquid)

mass of bottle = 100 N / 10 N/kg = 10 kg

total mass = 43.2 + 10 = 53.2 kg
