Given,

Power (P) = 60 W

Time (t) = 5 hrs

Units Consumed = Pt/1000

= (60*5)/1000 kWh

= 300/1000 kWh

= 0.3 kWh

1 kWh = 3.6*10⁶ J

0.3 kWh = (3.6*0.3)*10⁶ J

= 1.08*10⁶ J
