Edge of the small cube ( s ) = 2cm
Let V , v are volumes of the two
Cubes .
Number cubes cut from big cube = n
n = V/v
n = a³/s³
n = 6³/2³
n = ( 6/2 )³
n = 3³
n = 27
Now ,
Total surface area of the
Small cube = 6s
Total surface area of 27 cubes
= 27 × 6s
= 27 × 6 × 2
= 324 sq cm
