using conservation of momentum

6*9 = 18v

v = 3m/s

aayushg1713: Ok let me explain
riyamihani: yes pls
aayushg1713: the mass is dropped in perpendicular direction this means that no external force acts on the sledge in the direction of its velocity. so external force in horizontal direction is 0 which means we can conserve initial and final momentum of the sledge.
riyamihani: got it
riyamihani: thank you
aayushg1713: yo!
aayushg1713: mark the answer as brainliest please !!
riyamihani: sure
riyamihani: how to do it?
aayushg1713: when someone other answers it will show but thanks <3

Answer:

4ms

Explanation:

m1=60

u1 =10

m2=90

v =?

u2=0

v= m1u1+m2u2 /m1+m2

= 600/150

=4
