A (8,5), B (6,0) and C (0,8) are the vertices of a Triangle ABC & AD perpendicular to BC, then find the length of AD.​

D =  (6/2 , 8/2)

   = (3 , 4 )

using distance formula

length of AD  = root of ( 8 -3 )² + (5 -4)²

                      = root of (25 + 1)

                     = √26 units
