A 9 ohm resistance is to be combined with two other resistors of 3 ohm and 6ohm to get a resistance of 11ohm . How shall they ne combined . Explain how you arrive at your answer​

9ohm resistor is connected in series with the combine connection of 6ohm resistor and 3 ohm resistor in parallel

1/rp = 1/3ohm + 1/6ohm

= 2+1/6 = 3/6

rp = 6/3 [reciprocal] = 2 ohm

now,

Rs = 9ohm + 2ohm = 11ohm
