⟹a -  \frac{(a - 1)}{2}  = 1 -  \frac{(a - 2)}{3}

⟹ \frac{2a -  a + 1 }{2}  =  \frac{3 - a - 2}{3}

⟹6a - 3a + 3 = 6 - 2a - 4

⟹3a  + 2a = 6 - 4 - 3

⟹5a =  - 1

⟹a =  -  \frac{1}{5} ✓
