A=A.e^-2d (since given k=2). Therefore we should make the factor e^-2d=1/2 so that A=A./2 will be obtained.
Therefore e^-2d=1/2
              or e^2d=2 (Reciprocating)
or 2d=log 2 (taking log on both sides)
              or d=(log 2)/2=0.316.
