Question ::-

Find the volume of a cube whose surface area is 216 m². Is the numerical value of the surface area same as that of its volume?

Given ::-

  • Surface area of cube = 216 m²

To find ::-

  • volume of cube ?

Solution ::-

For finding surface area of cube , we used

• Surface area = 6 × {(side)}^{2}

• 216 = 6 × {(side)}^{2}

\dfrac{216}{6} = {(side)}^{2}

• 36 = {(side)}^{2}

\sqrt{36} = side

6 = side of cube.

___________

Now , we will find volume of cube

• Volume = {(side)}^{3}

• Volume = {(6)}^{3}

• Volume = 216 {cm}^{3}

Yes , the numerical value of the surface area same as that of its volume .

let side of a cube be ' x' m

Volume= x³

S.A. = 6x²

216= 6x² =x²=36

=x=36

V = 63=216m³

Yes, the numerical value of the surface area is same as that of its volume
