Answer:

B AGE = 10 YRS

A AGE = 60 YRS

Explanation:

B'S age now = x

A's age now = 6x

after 15 years,

B's age = x+15

A's age = 6x + 15

thus

6x + 15 = (x+15) 3     (whole multiplied)

6x +15 = 3x +45

when transposing 3x and 15 to LHS  and RHS  respectively ,

we get,

6x - 3x = 45-15

by solving this we get,

3x = 30

then we transpose 3

x = 30/3

thus we get that x = 10

then by using the first equation

A's age = 6x

we get,

A's age = 60 yrs
