A alarm bell is kept inside a vessel a person standig close disticly hear the sound if the air will be removed the person could hear the sound

If the air is removed from the vessel the person standing even closely cannot hear the sound .

●REASON ●
Because sound cannot travel through vacuum it needs a medium to travel. since all the air is removed from the vessel it becomes vacuum inside and hence the person cannot hear the sound of the alarm bell.
