A alone can do 1/4th of the work in 2 days so their one day work will be 1/8th of the total work. alone can do two third of the work in 4 days, so B's one day work will be one sixth of the total work. Since A, B and C together can complete the work in 3 days, their one day work will be one third of the total work.
Let C's one day work be x.
A.T.Q.,
1/8 + 1/6 + x = 1/3
x = 1/24
Therefore C will complete 1/12th of the work in 2 days.

Answer:

A =8

B=6

A+B+C=3

LCM(8,6,3)=total work=24U

Now efficiency of ...

A=3 U

B=4U

A+B+C=8U

therefore eff. of C=8-(3+4)= 1U

So C performs 1 Unit work per day.

In 2 day he will perform 2U.

Total work is 24U

So part done by C=2/24=1/12
