efficiency of A and B = 1/2x:1/3x = 3x : 2x

                                 total wages = 3000 rs = 5x

                                                therefore A : B = 1800: 1200

Answer:

A will get 1800.

Step-by-step explanation:

It is given that A alone can finish a piece of work in 10 days.

The efficiency of A is \frac{1}{10}.

B alone can do in 15 days.

The efficiency of B is \frac{1}{15}.

The ratio of their efficiency is

\frac{1}{10}:\frac{1}{15}

Multiply both side by 30.

3:2

It means the wages are divide in 3:2.

Total wages is Rs. 3000.

3000\times \frac{3}{5}=1800

3000\times \frac{2}{5}=1200

Therefor, A will get 1800.
