i) the velocity with which the object was thrown upward.
ii) the time taken by the object to reach the highest point.

height (h)=10m

1)velocity with which it is thrown up =v=√2gh

                                                               =√2×10×9.8

                                                               =√19.6

                                                               =1.4m/s

2)time taken to reach highest point=time of ascent=v/g

                                                                                    = 1.4/9.8

                                                                                    =1/7 sec
