Given : A and B are respectively 20% and 10% lower than C.

To Find : What percent of B is A

Solution:

Let say C  = 100X

A is 20%  lower than C

=> A = 100X  - (20/100)100X

=> A = 100X - 20X

=> A = 80X

B is 10%  lower than C

=> B = 100X  - (10/100)100X

=> B = 100X - 10X

=> B = 90X

A = 80X

B = 90 X

A % of B  = (A/B) * 100

= (80X/90X) * 100

= 800/9

= 88.89 %
