a² + b² = b²- 2ac /a²

Step-by-step explanation:

P(x ) = ax² + bx + c

sum of zeroes = a + b = -b/a

product of zeroes = ab = c/a

Then,

a² + b² = (a+b)² - 2ab = (b/a)² - 2(c/a)

= b² / a² - 2c / a

 \frac{ {b}^{2} }{ {a}^{2} }  -  \frac{2c}{a}  =  \frac{ {b}^{2}  - 2ac}{ {a}^{2} }
