as under:

A:B:C=3500 : 2500 : 6000

Income of 3500+2500+6000

(or 12000) would be distributed

like this

A 3500

B 2500

C 6000

Here diff in incomes of B and C

=6000-2500

=3500

But if diff was 1977

total income would be

(1977/3500)*12000

=0.5648*12000

=6778.28......ANSWER

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Description for Correct answer:

Ratio of equivalent capitals of A, B and C for 1 month

= (3500 x 12) : (2500 x 12) :

(6000 x 8)

= 35 x 12 : 25 : 60 x 8

= 7 : 5 : 8

Sum of the terms of the ratio = 7 + 5 + 8 = 20

According to the question, If the total annual profit be Rs.x, then difference of shares of C and B = Rs.1977

=> (8/20 - 5/20)x =1977

=> 3x/20 = 1977

=> 3x = 1977 x 20

=> x=1977 x 20/3

= Rs.13180
