so, A = 24 days
B = 36 days
so, total work unit = 24 + 36 = 60 units
work unit of A : B = (60/24) : (60/36)

A left before 3 day of work completion so B alone work for last 3 days
so, B = 3×1.66 = 5 units
remaining work unit = 60-5 = 55 units
no of A and B can work together = (55/(2.5+1.666)) = (55/4.166) = 13.20 days
