A and B can do a piece of work in 6 days and 4 days respectively they started the work worked at it for two days and then was joined by B find the total time taken to complete the work​

Answer:

LCM of 6 and 4 = 12

efficiency = 2 & 3

in first two days A complete = 2*2 = 4 unit.

left work = 12-4 = 8 unit

now B also joins ,

so, together they will take to complete rest work = 8/5 = 1(3/5) days ..

Total number of days to complete whole work = 2+1(3/5) = 3(3/5) days (Ans)
