Number of days B take to complete this work = 24 days.

So, the work done by 'A' in a day be 1/12

°•° the work done by 'A' in 8 day be ( 8 × 1/12 ) = 8/12

According to the Question's Statement!

Statement : "A and B can do the same work together in 8 days".

  • 1/A + 1/B = 1/8

  • 1/12+ 1/B = 1/8

• 1/B = 1/8 - 1/12

• 1/B = 3-2/24

• 1/B = 1/24

• B = 24 days
