Answer : B. 60 days

SOLUTION :

Let, the total work = 30

Work done by A and B = 20

Remaining work = 30 - 20 = 10

Remaining work is done by A in 20 days

So, one day work of A = 10/20 = 1/2

Then, A will complete the whole work alone :

 \frac{30}{ \frac{1}{2} } = 30 \times 2 = 60

Thus, A can finish the whole work alone in 60 days.

Answer:

A alone can do the work in 60 days

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

A and B together can finish a work in 30 days.

after working for 20 days together b left.

So, total work done = 60 units

As, A and B can together can do 60 units of work in 30 days

So, No, of work done in 20 days = 60*20/30 => 40 units of work.

So, A and B together do 40 units of work in 20 days

So, each work they do in 20 days

i.e :- A does 1 unit of work in 1 day

Now, 60 units of work they can do in = 60* 1 = 60 days
