Step-by-step explanation:

A and B can finish 1/20th of work in 1 day

B and C can finish 1/60th of work in 1 day

and they together finish work in 1 day = 1/20+1/60=1/15

Time taken by all of them= 15days

Given :

A + B = 20 days.

A + C = 60 days.

According to the question :

A + B's 1 day work = 1 / 20

A + C's 1 day work = 1 / 60.

Together = ( A + B ) + ( A + C )

=> ( 1 / 20 ) + ( 1 / 60 ) [ LCM = 60 ]

=> ( 1 × 3 / 20 × 3 ) + ( 1 / 1 × 60 × 1 )

=> 3 / 60 + 1 / 60

=> 3 + 1 / 60

=> 4 / 60

=> 15.

Therefore, it will take 15

days to complete the work

together.
