of A and B are 20 m/s and 10 m/s respectively, what is the distance covered by A when he passes B for

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Track is of Length = 500 m

speed  of A = 20 m/s

speed  of B = 10 m/s

Time taken by them to meet = 500 / (20-10) = 50 sec

So, after every 50 sec they will meet.

In 7th time, they will meet in 50 x 7 = 350 sec

Distance covered by A in 350 sec = 20 x 350 = 7000 m

However total race distance is 5000 m.

Hence A and B will not meet 7th time in the race. If they continue to cycle beyond 5000 m, then A will cover 7000m when it meets B for 7th time.
