A and b together can complete a work in 12 days. A alone can complete it in 20 days. If b does the work only for half a day daily, then in how many days a and b together will complete the work.

Working time for A and B both = 12 days
Work done in 1 day = 1/12
Working time for A = 20 days
Work done in 1 day = 1/20
Work done by B in 1 day = Working time for A and B both - Work done in 1 day by A = 1/12-1/20
=1/30
Working time for B = 30 days
Work done in 1 day = 1/12
Working time for A = 20 days
Work done in 1 day = 1/20
