A and B together can do a piece of work in 30 days,if A having worked for 16 days and B completes the remaining work in 44 days .Then how much time B will take to complete entire work​

16/A +44/B = 30/30 = 1 (complete work )

Now we need to remove one variable so we multiply ( 1/A + 1/B = 1/30 ) by 16 :-

16/A + 16/B = 16/30

Now we subtract ( 16/A + 16/B = 16/30 ) by ( 16/A + 44/B = 30/30 )

16/A + 44/B = 30/30

-16/A +16/B = 16/30

= 28/B = 14/30

= 28/B = 7/15

Now we cross multiply :-

28 × 15 = 7 × B

= B = 28 × 15/7

= 4 × 15

=60 days
