A and Bare excellent ODI batters in the cricket team and they are chase specia llists. In their previous
match, they chased 30 runs off the final 2 overs successfully. A played the 49th over entirely and B
played the 50th over enfrely. B scored exactly half of what A scored in the 50th over to win the
match.
However in today's match their target has increased by SO% in the final 2 overs and assuming they
play in the same manner as their prev·ous match.
How much should B score to win the match?

Answer:

15

Explanation:

1) At the first case let A score 2x rubs in 49th over.

So B scores x runs in 20th over

thus total 3x = 30 rubs

So x = 10 runs, which is scored by B

2) In 2nd, it is 50% increaze; so B scores 1.5 x 10 = 15 runs
