A and Btogether can do a piece of work in 6 2/3days ,but B alone can do it in 10 days .How long will A take to do it?

A and B unit work=3x/20
B unit work=x/10
A unit work =3x-2x/20=×/20
There fore A will take 20 days alone to complete the work

Let the no. of days taken by A to complete the work be 'x' days

Gn that ,
 \frac{1}{x} +  \frac{1}{10}    =  \frac{3}{20}
 \frac{10 + x}{10x}  =  \frac{3}{20}
200 + 20x = 30x
10x = 200
x = 20


Thus A can finish the work alone in 20 days
