Assertion : Fe3O4 = { FeO. Fe2O3}

The oxidation state of Fe in FeO and Fe2O3 are +2 and +3.

Reason : Fe2± + MnO4(pink) ➡️Fe3 + Mn2± (colourless)

Both (A) and (R) are correct but (R) is not the correct explanation for (A).
