a+b = -13
a= -13 - b

ab= 36
a =36/b

36/b = - 13 - b

36 = (-13 - b)b

36 = - 13 b - b2

b2 + 13 b +36 =0

b2 + 9b + 4b +36 =0

b (b + 9) +4(b+9)=0

(b+9) (b+4) =0

b= -9 or b= -4

Let b= -9 then a = - 4

Let b= - 4 then a= - 9

malik14: 9 n 4 as simple by substitution
