a + b = 2

a - b = 0

add both the equations

2a = 4

a = 2

substitute in any equation and get value of b

b = 0

the solution is right..

add the first 2 equations u get:-

2a = 4 \\ a = 4 \div 2 = 2 \\

substituting the value of a in the first equation:-

2 + b = 2 \\ b = 2 - 2 = 0

therefore your answer is right..

hope this helps!!
