HEYA MATE:-

UR ANSWER

a+b=7

a=7-b. ------(1)

ab=10

(7-b) b=10. -----(from1)

7b-b^2=10

-b^2+7b-10=0

By splitting the middle term, we get:

(-b+5) (b-2)=0

b=2,5

Put values of b in (1) equation :-

For b=2. For b=5

a=7-2. a=7-5

a=5. a=2

Answer:

here your answer...

Step-by-step explanation:

a+b=7 (1)

b=7-a

ab=10

a(7-a) =10

7a-a2-10=0

a2-7a+10=0

a2-5a-2a+10=0

a(a-5) -2(a-5) =0

(a-5) (a-2) =0

a=5, 2

substitute a in' (1)

b=2, 5

therefore a=5, b=2

or

a=2, b=5
