Answer:

a+b =7. ab=6

 {a}^{2} - {b}^{2} = </em><em>(</em><em> {a + b}</em><em>)</em><em>^{2} - 2ab \: \\ {7}^{2} - 2(6) \\ = 49 - 12 \\ = 37

A+b=7

Squaring on both sides

We get,

(a+b)²=49

a²+b²+2ab=49

a²+b²+12=49

a²+b²=37

Now (a-b)²=a²+b²-2ab

=37-12=25

(a-b)=5

a²-b²=(a+b)(a-b)=7×5=35

Hope it helps you..
