Given data: (a+b) (a-b) = a^2 - b2^2

To prove: The cubic formula.

Solution:

  • According to the cubic formula, We can prove by LHS=RHS.
  • Considering the LHS, We have (a+b) (a-b) .
  • Multiplying the given equation we get (a^2-ab+ab-b^2) .
  • In this equation -ab and +ab will be cancelled because of adding the same variable.
  • After that process we have (a^2-b^2).
  •  Hence the given cubic equation is proved  (LHS=RHS).
