It is the identity

(a + b)(a - b) \\  =  {a}^{2}  -  {b}^{2}

you have to learn this Identity i can derive this expression you can easily get this from that

(a + b)(a  -  b) \\  {a}^{2} - ab + ab -  {b}^{2}   \\  =  {a}^{2}  -  {b}^{2}

Steps of doing

  • First multiply like you easily simplify any equation
  • Then subtract ab and ab it results to zero
  • only a square minus b square are left
