Answer:

Efficiency of A = 1/6 part of work per day

Efficiency of B = 1/8 part of work per day

Efficiency of C = 1/12 part of work per day

Combined efficiency of B and C = 1/8 + 1/12 = 5/24 th part of work per day

Part of work done by B and C in 2 days = 2*5/24 = 5/12 th part of work

Left over work = 1 - 5/12 = 7/12 th part

Combined efficiency of A and C = 1/6 + 1/12 = 1/4 th part of work per day

No of days taken in finishing 7/12 th part of work = 7/12*4 = 7/3 days

Total time taken = 2 + 7/3 = 13/3 = 4 days and 8 hrs
